Phew! Not been in here for a while...

I pended 'Neath Rugby Club and its Record Breaking 1988/89 Season' after being commissioned (paid!) to write 'Swansea in the Great War'.

That will be published in October 2014, 89,000 words and 240+ images.

I'll soon be back on the Neath rugby book and will hope to find a publisher for 2015.

Were you following the Neath rugby team for the 1988/89 season? The one where we won a league title, the Welsh Cup and set world records for points and tries scored?

'I was there!' (well, for most of the games staged on Welsh soil) and I am currently writing what I hope will be a book covering the whole season, game by game.

What I need is access to good quality photographs of the Blacks in action during THAT particular season. Not the ones before 1988/89 or the ones after! Currently trying the obvious places (club and press etc.) but all options will be considered while I await replies. Maybe you went along with a good camera?

If I manage to get this published as a book would you be interested in getting a copy? It'll have detailed accounts of each game (50 in all) plus details of both teams and scorers. Also background stuff on Welsh internationals, leagues and other rugby issues. Let me know - I'll need to impress a publisher with possible sales! (no obligation to buy, of course)
